Dad,
JustSome silver options that I have to offer you if you are interested:
These are just a few things I had laying around. Not sure if these are what you were thinking or not. the 2 sets are sterling not pure. this means that they are 92.5 percent silver with some other metals thrown in. The ingots in the display case are all pure silver and have been collected from all over the world.
Rembrandt coin set:
the set contains 50 coins each embossed with a design from one of his pieces of art. the coins are guaranteed to to have at least 1000 grains of sterling silver, this is roughly 2.28 ounces. Because they are sterling, this translates to at least 2.11 ounces of pure silver in each coin. There are 50 coins in the set, so it has a total silver content of 105.5 ounces pure silver. Each coin weighs slightly different weight, so those numbers are just going by the minimum.
This set I could let you have for silver spot which is $29.58 per ounce(8/23/24) bring the cost of the set to $3,120.69
Canadian Olympic Coin Set
This is a set of coins released in 1974 to help fund the 1976 Olympics. These are actual coins minted by the Canadian government. They are minted in sterling silver so 92.5% pure. There are 14 $10.00 coins and each has a pure silver content of 1.44 ounces, and there are 14 $5.00 coins each with a pure silver content of .723 ounces. This brings the total of pure silver to 30.28 ounces.
This set I could let you have for silver spot which is $29.58 per ounce(8/23/24) bring the cost of the set to $895.68
